Photo's from the 2005 Spring Gold Cup held on March 14th, 2005 at Encinal Yacht Club in Alameda, CA. Encinal Yacht Club hosted the first of a 10 race event " Optimist high point series" which will continue throughout the 2005 race season. Conditions were ideal for the March 13 regatta with full sun and steady 7-15 knot winds. Twenty-three racers participated including 5 'green fleeters'(new to racing). The next in the series will be held at Richmond Yacht Club on April 2-3.
